Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are the best method to quickly clean up messes. The top robot vacuums and mops I tested had excellent navigation and mapping. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as wires that were tangled.
You can also schedule cleaning tasks through an app and monitor their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
If you're searching for the most effective robot vacuum and mop combo with cutting-edge features, take a look at the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile, and it picked up human hair and pet hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a miniature map of your house and some on-screen buttons to allow manual control.
The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode in accordance with the amount of dirt. It will stop and wash its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.
It comes with a range of other innovative features as well, including a different dock that connects to your plumbing to clean and wash the mop roller, without having you to manually refill it. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to control room cleaning modes and granular control using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-off robot vacuum with mopping capabilities The Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible options. talking to 's among the many combination robot vacuums that have mopping capabilities that are priced lower than other models.
As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This involves setting up an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've completed this, the robot will start vacuuming and mops effortlessly.
It's important to note that mapping takes some time and it could require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate picture of your space. The object detection feature is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels that it had to flip over to free itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need a cleaning companion that does everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned and not just being swept. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that enables you to get into places that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa and other clever features. The upgraded RGBD sensor is able to learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app lets you adjust the settings of your choice such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum as well as the mop returning to their charging station after each job to wash their pads, empty their dust bins and place debris into the self-sealing bags. This helps to keep the system tidy and stops allergens from returning to the system. Its battery life is long enough to cover large areas without needing a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more top-quality robot vacuums and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It has powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets and a fantastic obstacle-avoiding. It also has an unique mopping method which uses a rolling device that is continuously misting with water to capture dirt and then deposit it in the water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of steps and walked close to walls without crashing. It struggled with fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also high, and it could be less of a set-and-forget model than some.
Like most robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors in an ongoing basis. You can manage all of its functions using the Eufy app, which provides an easy overview and lots of configurability.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best vacuums/mowers on the market. It provides impressive vacuuming and mopping results. The LIDAR mapping sensors can recognize furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with decent accuracy. The app allows users to fine-tune the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones, and even modify their cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which is a big pain point with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM, while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system has smart carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they are near soft surfaces in order to prevent contamination.
The docking station is an automated maintenance center that automatically washes and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins every time they are empty.
6. S10
This robot is a few hundred dollars less than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my home office tidy. It is also able to reach all corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make an outline of your home, so it knows which areas to avoid. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can block things like toys and dog bowls (but not Poop), unlike many vacuums.
Other great features include a self emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing, adjustable to water temperature, and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and set custom the settings for each room of your home.

Similar to the S8, it has multi-room smart mapping, and can distinguish between laminate, carpets and hardwood with high-pile rugs. It can also avoid cleaning rooms that aren't clean if you want to reduce time. It's an excellent option if you have a mix of flooring in your home but don't want to spend the extra money on the Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that can handle regular maintenance and touch-ups on messy messes that are wet, this robot is an excellent option. It comes with a variety of features including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own as well as an additional water refill dock, and adjustable settings within the app. It's extremely quiet, and it can move around furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's unable to pick up the tangled tassels of a rug and it drains its battery quicker than other models we tried.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that offers a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming, but overall it did very well. It also comes with a variety of cleaning modes to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for debris that is light to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for carpeted rooms. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and replace its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum that can be used even in small areas. It's silent and fast and it is able to navigate tight spaces with ease. It also does a nice job of getting pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than most of its competition however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be set to take photos of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as "not located' so that they will not be taken up in subsequent cleanings. Its photos are encrypted, and aren't tied to your account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming but isn't as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that clip onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
